Osteopathic-based manual therapy can help.

Manual therapy adopts a holistic perspective of the body to optimize its performance. Utilizing a combination of techniques, it aims not only to address acute and chronic pain and dysfunction but also to steer the body toward optimal health and peak performance. In each session, a comprehensive set of functional range assessments is seamlessly integrated with manual osteopathic techniques acquired through ongoing education from reputable sources like ANS Balance HRV, Kinections Educational Institute, and other evidence-based assessments.

This treatment approach is grounded in the philosophy that the body's various systems are interconnected, and successful treatment requires addressing them collectively. My expertise is particularly tailored for athletes and active individuals seeking to regain their competitive edge or enhance their performance. I blend treatment approaches with principles of strength and conditioning specifically tailored to your chosen activity, ensuring a return to your sport or activity with increased strength and resilience. However, my clients range from infants to the elderly meeting them where they are at and helping each of them thrive.

While each treatment is uniquely crafted, certain foundational elements are consistent, including an updated health history review, an in-depth analysis of posture and biomechanical movement, and the application of a customized blend of manual osteopathic techniques tailored to the client's specific needs at that particular moment.

IMPORTANT! Choosing the right healthcare professional depends on your specific needs. If you're dealing with acute or life-threatening situations, complex diagnoses, or require surgical or pharmaceutical interventions, we advise you to seek help from a competent physician. Osteopathic manual therapy is an excellent complement to traditional medical care.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TREATMENT

Wear athletic clothing such as shorts or pants with elastic waistbands (not jeans) and be ready to communicate openly about your condition and discomfort. My goal is to resolve the root cause of these dysfunctions in as few visits as possible. Bring water to hydrate quickly after therapy.

*First-time clients will complete a Health History Intake Sheet in order to make an appointment. Please review the Office Policies sheet prior to your appointment.
